’m Ron Stafford, a photographer with a love of old buildings, meaningful places, and the stories they hold.

When I look at a building, I notice its light, its lines, and the details someone took care to create. Then come the questions: Who built it? Who passed through its doors? What happened here?

My training in historical and archival research helps me follow those questions. Photography lets me share what I see. Together, they give me a way to preserve both the character of a place and something of the lives connected to it.

Through my prints and custom projects across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee, I help people hold on to places that matter to them—and discover stories they may never have known.
